Inside Miro's world.

looking for a place I can hide

Here are the two states in which you may exist: person who writes, or person who does not. If you write: you are a writer. If you do not write: you are not. Aspiring is a meaningless null state that romanticizes Not Writing. It’s as ludicrous as saying, “I aspire to pick up that piece of paper that fell on the floor.” Either pick it up or don’t.

Over the one month course of the Arnhem Mode Biennale 2011, the candle burnt down day by day, melting and transforming throughout the duration of the exhibition.

all the things I can’t say.

we haven’t talked since last year. you’re in the other side of the world.
I dreamed of you all night and in the dream, you were close, so close that I was able to tell you all the things I’ve always wanted.
Waking up and realizing it was just a dream sucks.
Then, I get to my phone, there’s a message from you…
who felt who?
our connection impresses me, yet I can’t tell you.

We met at the wrong time. That’s what I keep telling myself anyway. Maybe one day years from now, we’ll meet in a coffee shop in a far away city somewhere and we could give it another shot.

Q: Do you believe in God?

A: No, I believe in something much bigger.
